Dr. Marjorie Reyes Díaz
Associate researcher
Dr. Marjorie Reyes leads a research group on Molecular Plant Ecophysiology with emphasis in abiotic stress mechanisms. She has experience in the physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology of higher plants, including crops of economical importance. She also has experience in the genotype-environment interaction and characterization of tolerance mechanisms involving enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant responses in plants grown under soil acidity conditions. Dr. Reyes has published several papers in ISI journals and also book chapters. She also leads research projects, advice Post-Ph.D, Ph.D, and undergraduate students, contributing actively to the training of professionals and scientists. She also is member of CONICYT committee and as scientific expert in CNA and EQA (European Quality Assurance).
