Dr. Claudia Rabert
National collaborator

I am an Agronomist trained at the Universidad de La Frontera from 1996 to 2002. In 2004, I started my postgraduate studies, entering the doctoral program in Sciences for Cell and Applied Molecular Biology. During my academic training I have acquired the knowledge and experience necessary to propose and develop Biology-related research projects. Up to this date, I have participated in 15 research projects with national and foreign funds. My research and collaborations have generated 11 scientific publications, which include renown international journals, 2 patents awarded and an extensive participation in national and international scientific conferences. My line of research has focused on the study of physiology and molecular biology of Antarctic vascular plants, including the study of mineral nutrition in these plant species. Currently, I am conducting a research whose focus is on the study of auto-inducer molecules associated to rhizospheric bacterial community in Antarctic plants and for other side I study the bacterial community associated to forest plant post-fire with the purpose to identify some species with PGPR effect.
