In this episode the researchers from the Network of Extreme Environments (NEXER) to the peat bogs near the Parrillar lagoon in the south of Punta Arenas. There we recorded part of the sediment survey work that allows us to study the accumulation of carbon dioxide and methane, gases that produce the planet’s climate change and that are trapped in these sites that are trapped in the sub-Antarctic region.
